AVLELEC - ASM20-00 masking speaker assembly is designed to accurately reproduce the required spectrum of masking signal into small plenum spaces. The innovative square enclosure ensures accurate sound masking frequency response. Specially designed 2"x4" cone loudspeakers (2) are included in the package. A high efficiency 70.7V internal transformer is coupled to an external tap selector switch for easy system tuning.
To meet most any local code requirement, the M2000-LP includes an innovative cover containing both knockouts and a strain relief. This system will allow the use of rigid or flexible conduit (if required) and easily accommodates "through" connections on the removable plate. UL 2043 listed for use in air handling spaces.

AVLELEC ASM20-00SM is a valuable security product that can be used on any flat surface. Including windows, doors, walls, and ducts. The subtle design incorporates two-part transducer / transformer provides discrete placement and mounting options. The Exciter Technology in a 1", coil-mounted plate, the transducer offers installation, while the transformer can be remote-mounted and adjusted with variable tap settings. Note: The ASM20-00-SM requires a sound masking generator and 70.7V amplifier for operation.

ASM-8-12BX/RX square enclosure offers a cubic content of 529 cu. in. (.087 m3) C10A, 8" Dia. loudspeaker and a 70.7V (T7) transformer. Loudspeaker mounting plate contains no perforated grille and thus positions the speaker cone as fully exposed.

The Atlas Sound AA-GPN1200 analog signal generator is ideal to use for many basic Sound Masking systems. The analog topology design eliminates repeating cycles commonly found in other manufactures digital designs. The AA-GPN1200 supports selections between Pink or White noise signals. This generator incorporates a variable balanced output and will deliver a 1V balanced output allowing it to match input circuits of Atlas Sound equalizers and amplifiers. Also a variable Hi-Cut filter when engaged, supports most equalizing requirements for most basic Sound Masking systems. The EQ filter operating range is between 1 kHz and 8 kHz with a slope of 6 dB per octave.
This small but effective generator can be used standalone or rack mounted. If multiple zones are required up to three AA-GPN1200 can be mounted onto a single 1 RU panel. The balanced output connection is via a Phoenix type (Euro block) connector. Rear mounted controls also help prevent unauthorized tampering.
